Take Control of Your Pelvic Health
The issues you’ve brushed off as “just part of getting older or being a woman”?
They don’t have to be. Your body can heal with the right support.
signs you should seek a pelvic floor physical therapist
What once was a small leak with a sneeze or cough now happens just by clearing your throat.
That heavy feeling you used to get before your period now shows up after a long day on your feet or after a workout.
You feel like you’re turning into your mother, running to the bathroom constantly and telling your kids to "go, just in case."
You're reaching for a pad more often before heading to the gym or on a hike, just to play it safe.
You avoid intercourse because it’s too painful, no matter what you try.
Does this sound familiar?
If you’re nodding along, you might think this is just part of being a woman. But here’s the truth: You don’t have to live this way.
You Can Thrive—Not Just Cope
I want you to know I’ve been there.
My pelvic health journey began after unexpected postpartum challenges. I was a new mom, juggling a demanding job and telling myself I didn’t have time to deal with my symptoms.
I hit a breaking point when my bladder nearly burst one day as I ran to the bathroom, leaving my crying son in the car, barely unbuttoning my pants in time. At that moment, I realized I couldn’t do it all alone.
Getting support changed everything—not just for my body, but for how I showed up as a mom and a physical therapist. More than a decade later, I bring that lived experience and professional expertise to help other women heal with compassion, modern care, and hope.
I help women regain control of their bodies because I know how life-changing this can be.
1: find the root cause
Through a detailed assessment of posture, breathing, core coordination, and daily habits, we uncover the root contributors to pelvic pain, leakage, or pressure.
You’ll learn how your pelvic floor works with your core, hips, and nervous system, and start to understand the “why” behind what you’re feeling.
2: Restore
Once we’ve found the root causes, we focus on rebuilding the foundation.
Using targeted exercises, manual therapy, and breathwork, you will reconnect with your core and pelvic floor.
You’ll learn how to move, lift, and live with more confidence, while integrating lifestyle strategies that support healing, such as improving bowel and bladder habits, reducing tension, and nervous system support.
3: resilience
With the foundation restored, this phase is all about creating lasting change —We build on your progress with progressive strength training, movement retraining, and functional integration so your pelvic floor supports you in everything you do.
By this stage, your new habits and awareness become second nature, helping you stay active, confident, and in control for the long run.

What my clients have to say
I can do jumping jacks again! I didn't think I would ever be able to walk past a public restroom or sleep through the night again. My mother had pelvic floor issues throughout her life, and I thought that was just part of being a woman and a mother. Allison is amazing! She patiently debunked the idea that I would have to live with urinary incontinence and gave me a series of exercises that took maybe ten minutes a day. I didn't realize how much this was interfering with my life until I started to improve. Thank you, Allison! -BB
