Hi, I’m Allison Poole.
PT, MPT, WHC, owner
My mission is to illuminate the often overlooked aspects of women's health and provide you with evidence-based support and heart-centered guidance for the season you’re in.
My story
With over 20 years in practice, I’ve supported women through every stage of life —from postpartum to pelvic pain to the quiet shifts of midlife. My work as a pelvic health physical therapist taught me to look beyond symptoms and see the whole woman —her body, yes, but also her mind, her heart, and her spirit.
And then came my own unraveling…
In my late 30s, I started noticing strange symptoms: irritability, night sweats, crashing libido, and cycles that seemed to have a mind of their own. I blamed stress—I was running a business, raising a son, holding a lot together. But deep down, I knew something else was happening.
I finally got myself to the doctor, convinced I was dying, and as I sat there in that oh-so-elegant paper gown, my doctor nonchalantly declared, “It’s perimenopause – welcome to the club!” No guidance, no plan —just a name.
That was it.
So, like so many women, I went searching for answers myself. I immersed myself in research, functional nutrition, hormone health, and nervous system regulation. I was doing all the “right” things, yet nothing was helping.
My doctor was saying this was all normal…yet I felt anything but normal.
As I began my journey to “figure it out,” I learned the most important lesson of all:
The health and wellness culture won’t solve the primary issues of midlife and beyond. I’m talking – the eat less, move more, and the magic will happen – you just have to try harder, wake up earlier, and DO MORE – rhetoric that’s pervasive in our society.
Sure, that may have served me in my teens, twenties and early thirties…but not anymore. Perimenopause invites you to do something different. It invites you to pause.
And what a gift that was. When I stopped trying to power through and started listening to what my body was asking for.
That pause became everything. And it led me here.
I’ve designed my practice for women like us—navigating the physical, emotional, and spiritual shifts of midlife with questions that don’t have quick fixes. Here, we honor the complexity of this season. We talk about hormones and hot flashes, but also about identity, grief, joy, and growth.
This isn’t about pushing through. It’s about coming home to yourself.
Midlife is not the end of the story—it’s a powerful rewrite. And I’m here to help you write it.
What my clients have to say
“Working with Allison has been life-changing. At 43, I was exhausted—waking up every night, unable to fall back asleep, and running on empty. I reached out to her after a friend suggested my sleep issues might be tied to perimenopause. From our very first consultation, I felt seen and supported. Over the course of six sessions, not only did my sleep improve, but I gained energy, strength, and a deeper understanding of what was happening in my body. Allison’s approach is empowering—she offers real tools and education without ever rushing the process. I honestly feel better now than I did in my 20s. Women don’t have to go through this alone, and I’m so grateful Allison is doing this work.”
